At 30, Vikas Harsh represents a new generation of Indian entrepreneurs combining professional education, international experience and family enterprise. As Director of UNITED MODERN STONE SPC, he has contributed to major marble, granite and natural-stone projects across Oman.

Professional journey & contribution

The Oman Botanic Garden became a defining milestone, strengthening the company's standing through technical understanding, precise material planning, dependable delivery and relationship-led growth. Vikas carries a third-generation civil-engineering legacy shaped by his grandfather, Shri Dhrub Deo Tiwari, and his father, Mr. Sanjay Kumar, who has worked in Oman for nearly three decades. Throughout this journey he has received unwavering support from his wife, Divya, an engineer and management graduate from IIM Trichy, whose encouragement remains an important source of strength.

In 2021, the family expanded its vision to India through Natural Stone Marble and Granite Pvt. Ltd., which contributed to the Shri Ram Mandir project in Ayodhya. Vikas now aims to establish stone-processing capacity in India for temples and heritage architecture, combining modern production with traditional craftsmanship and building a trusted enterprise across markets. Three generations of engineering knowledge inspire a vision that connects technical excellence, family values and global enterprise.
