A leadership perspective from the Dubai stage
At the 2026 Dubai summit, CS Vijay Ojha joined the leadership speaker programme for a session centred on governance and leadership. His professional experience connects board practice, legal responsibilities, compliance and responsible business decision-making.
Mr. Ojha is Group Company Secretary at Sharaf Group, a diversified Dubai-based group with operations across more than 60 countries. His work spans company secretarial practice, corporate governance, statutory and legal compliance, finance, human resources and administration.
With more than 25 years of experience, he has worked with leadership teams across complex organisational settings. He is also a founding member and director of ICSI Middle East (DIFC) NPIO in Dubai, helping to connect the professional community with conversations on governance, risk, compliance and leadership in the region.
The governance conversation brought boardroom experience into a wider discussion about accountable and sustainable enterprise.
A career across governance and compliance
A Fellow of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and a life member of the Institute of Directors, Mr. Ojha holds degrees in Law (LLB) and Business Administration (BBA). His perspective is informed by the practical demands of governance, legal advice, ESG and compliance.
He regularly speaks at international conferences and seminars on corporate governance, governance, risk and compliance (GRC), ESG, legal and compliance themes. In 2025, Middle East Leaders Magazine recognised him among its Most Influential Legal Leaders in the Middle East.
Part of a wider leadership dialogue
The International Business Summit & Achiever Awards 2026 brought together perspectives from governance, sustainability, legal practice, real estate and emerging entrepreneurship. Mr. Ojha’s participation represented the governance and leadership dimension of that programme, placing professional accountability within the summit’s broader conversation on business growth.
His career illustrates the role of trusted governance professionals in helping organisations make considered decisions across markets, disciplines and changing expectations.
